In the PI, I had cheese ice cream, which tasted like cheesy popcorn. Down in TX, I had a Guiness Stout ice cream for St. Patrick's Day, which was delicious.
I totally wash my mushrooms. I used to wipe them with a wet towel, but it took far too long to get them really clean. Plus, I found that it sometimes tears the tender tops of them, so it was just e...
Well, I like them best as they are! Boring, I know. They are great alongside a traditional Philippino breakfast. I'd also like to try making them with bananas in turon (http://www.opensourcefood.co...
this was always a standard project in kindegarten and 1st grade when I was a kid - at least where I grew up. My sister, cousin and I all did this project at least twice in school. The best was when...
Due to pre-existing remodeling, we are lucky enough have two living rooms, side-by-side, one is a designated kid-zone, so we would put it there where our daughter can lounge or play. BTW, she loves...
I agree with "eowes" - each kid is so different. My daughter and nephew are only 8 weeks apart, and couldn't be more different if they tried. We only have a couple of cabinets with latches on them ...

They also play mancala in the Philippines (although it's called something else), so this would be great for my daughter to learn with AND keep her entertained in the car!
We have a sort of second living room that has been converted (for now) into a playroom where we'd keep it. There's extra thick carpeting in case that bronco gets too wild (and I mean my daughter)!
My 17 month-old is happy to have a bath by herself in the big tub, but we went through the whole progression: plastic baby tub, kitchen sink, in the tub with me, and now in the tub by herself.

I don't think my hubby would use it, so it'd be my Compaq.

Oh, I love that shine nursery lamp - it's so much cooler than the character themed ones dominating the stores around here.
Thank you for the opportunity - I am crossing my fingers and toes for the books!

my Japanese family laughs at me because my favorite is gyoza, but I'd like to make yakisoba or kitsune-zushi, or maybe even a mochi-related desert.
Here's a question: where do you find the rolls of paper? There aren't a lot of art stores where I live, and the rolls I've seen have been gigantic!
Looks like a gorgeous book; we could really use some more inspiration.
