Love everything about this! Great job.

1. You've inspired me to try your recipes. Being in Portland, OR I have tried a million vegan baked goods (including Xmas cookies) and never found them satisfying. So I'll have to make my own.

We also must keep a combo because of the pet issue. I don't like to wipe anything from the floor with a cloth. And since we have both a dog and toddler I won't be giving up the paper for floor spil...

I did both and will probably do it again. I had great luck steaming my own sweet potatoes, peas, etc. But it was actually more economical for me to buy organic applesauce than make my own from orga...

Flexatarian. It doesn't mean anything. Amen. Ah-ha

We truly live in a tiny space. About 900 ft. and no bedrooms. We have one open loft space upstairs. One half houses his clothes, rocker, stuffed animal basket, bookcase with paper books and small c...

I would never do it, just because it looks like it took time and skill which I never have while pregnant. I'm not someone who really needs a custom designed anything now that there are more modern ...

We live in the city and I was wondering if that is why no one ever touches my kid. But we have done tons of traveling and although many people smile at him, say he's cute, play peekaboo with him......

I am very curious as well, where is that top photo from?

I had a pregnancy full of research and questions about this very subject. I have a good friend who is a home-birth midwife and (of course) wanted me to use her services.) I had 3 problems with this...

I agree with pronetowonder, I was going to suggest Portland. Great food, culture, largest Japanese Garden outside of Japan, small nice zoo (with a small train for the kids), one hour from the coast...

I just received mine today and I must say they are pretty cool. I can see these being fun for more than holding food, for instance as a great sandbox or beach toy. Kids are so imaginative I'm sure ...

We have an ergo and a bjorn was given to us. My husband used the ergo first, with the infant insert, for almost 2 months. He just recently tried the bjorn and HATED it, wanted to rip it off of hims...

I have to say, I love this photo. There is just something about it that is so pure and natural. I hope to skip rope with my boy someday while my husband watches smiling.

Interesting, I had read on diaperpin.com that Borax Washing Soda breaks down cloth diapers and baking soda should be added to the wash instead. So I have been washing the baby clothes & diapers in ...

We did the same, took only used items we thought we would use and registered carefully. I was determined to be a minimalist about the whole thing. And we were fortunate enough to have people giving...

I completely agree! I just gave birth three weeks ago and, though I was not familiar with this method, I believed all three of those things. I gave myself permission to do whatever we had to do to ...

I have no idea how you bring your laptop into the kitchen without fear of an accident, so brave! I just couldn't do it so I either print out what I'm working from or run back and forth to the livin...

emilymch - I agree with you. US families have had playpens for years and they only recently were called playards. My mom always raves about how great my sister was in the playpen and it was ...

When we went to Holland we tried these and they were called Poffertjes. They were wonderful but not filled with anything. Just plain with powdered sugar and syrup.
