The angry reactions against this piece make me love it more!
Is that really a $100 vase? 'Cause I found a little one at a Salvation Army for $2.
I think it would be intere...
I wonder if it would make a different to shift the entire arrangement as is to the corner? Otherwise I agree with the others: move the fridge from between the chairs.
Send me a note and I'll come over and take some better pictures for you. It's funny, 'cause the first picture of the table is (almost) absolutely captivating. I'm curious about the art. Are they ar...
Conceptually it's good and there are a lot of nice details. Unfortunately the execution is poor and the overall effect beyond the living room is surprisingly cramped and messy.
I think there's something about the overall lighting of the photo that makes it look like a faded page from Architectural Digest. I guessed the '90s because it seems a little more sophisticated tha...
Such a well balanced room! It could have never worked without that large window. I think the natural light makes all the difference. I wonder what it's like at night...with lit candles.
Hmmm, that's joss paper. I don't think it really has anything to do with tea. It's meant to be burned for a certain holiday (the name of which escapes me at the moment).
I guess the question is does it bring more than $20,000 of value to the property? The perceived value may be negligible except for those who may be more brand conscious.
I was just watching a documentary the other day that shows how this fabric is made. During weaving the loom is paused and the feathers are inserted into pockets which are closed once the loom resum...
I wonder about the Anthropologie store decorators outside of nyc. The displays in nyc are always so eye catching. Here in Austin, the displays have left a bit to be desired so far.
Considering how long we've been waiting for Muji to come to this country, there may not be enough hype. Either way, I just hope it dies down by the next time I visit nyc so I can do my shopping in ...

I haven't seen most of the entries yet. I'm thrilled that a place this minimalistic won! It's very strong.

If you can't do the real thing there's also the Piet Hein Eek wallpaper.
I actually found it quite refreshing. It's like a warmer John Pawson.

Personally, I prefer the few people sitting around a living room. Crowds are overrated.
I was a little confused as to why there were so many comments in this post. Now I see why!

I stopped buying the NY Times when I realized I was really only getting it for the crossword which I get online now.

I want to know about the lights hanging in the bathroom with the marble sink.
wow, tough business. I liked it for a while in the '90s. As my tastes skewed more and more modern, it wasn't for me any more. It is a shame though.
