could be a nice way to use tile that is vintage, salvage, etc - but i agree that maybe it needs to be done a little better? it seems like it would make most sense for a sink that's in a narrow spac...

My grandparents used to stock up on the satsumas for Christmas because they knew how much I LOVED them. Tangerines will always remind me of the holidays... and I'm sure I'll have some in my stockin...

i like the idea of keeping it simple - blend the upper portion into the walls, but maybe do the bottom in a slightly contrasting color - ie a shade or two darker than whatever color the walls are. ...

wow - stunning!! and you're right - it is a bit like living in a pantone book! but done so well, and in gorgeous shades.

that is an extreme karate chop! i think it only looks good when it's subtle and on rather large overstuffed pillows. otherwise, it's just plain silly.
