Staged family photos always look like a family desperately trying to convince others and themselves that they are happy. Snapshots and other informal photos are different, but those sometimes quit...
A whole Christmas tree works well as bird cover. We used ours in the side yard where the dogs and cats can't get to the birds and near a feeder. It works well as cover for small song birds. In t...
We almost always have a caroling group come by. We live in a small town in Michigan. We had a huge group this year. Maybe 50 people with little bitty kids and adults. They sang two songs one of...
1 city purchased, $2.50 garbage bag every two weeks for our family of 2 adults, 1 teen, 2 dogs and 1 cat. We compost for our garden, recycle at a station at the grocery store. It works pretty wel...
Not. I love repurposed things, but these (except for the one with the flange) look like they'd tip over. I guess if it was for the firefighters you'd be fine, but anyone else... With a little wo...
I'd listen to your antiques dealer friend and get it appraised before painting. If it's original gold leaf and a good frame you will ruin it by painting it. You could sell it for much more and bu...

If Apple made this, yes. Anyone else, no. Sorry. Something is off with the dimensions of the desk, I assume that's just a photoshop of an idea, but still. The monitor is too small, too far away...
I caught a mouse one winter morning with a file folder and sieve - just dropped the sieve on top and slid the folder underneath. Then I put on my coat, hat, scarf, boots and waded through the snow...
When my son was post bone marrow transplant, soft serve was absolutely forbidden. Actually, it's forbidden for anyone with a compromised immune system along with lots of other things. I hadn't he...
I'm wondering where this is. I haven't been up Miller in a long time and the street scape looks like Miller or maybe the Spring Street area. I can't imagine they would have gotten this past the O...
I can't imagine most of the people here painting once in 25 years and then not again. If you are going to paint more often than once every 20 years, it seems you should go with the lower VOC.
Screens will keep vermin and other pests out, but they won't do anything for dust which is worst closest to the ground. High ones seem smarter.

I strive for that look in my kitchen - it just looks so comfy.
The phone pic gets me. We lost our family phone and address book for a couple of months and I think this might be the w...

What a funny site! I really enjoyed it thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'm going to share it liberally.
