Yup, that main pic is totally unrealistic. First, there's barely enough room to get up the stairs, and if you were carrying anything, you'd be screwed. Second, while it looks good, there is no pr...

Very timely advice for me! And the 40" minimum sounds like very helpful rule. Thanks. :)

I usually use my regular serrated knife to cut tomatoes and other soft veggies and have never had a problem.

I add 1/2 - 1 slice of bread to the container. Also works well for keeping cookies soft after baking.

Whenever I send care packages to my cousins in college, I include some "Kitchen Sink Cookies." The recipe is from Martha Stewart. They are super yummy and hold up very well when shipped.

Any idea where the polar bear art is from? LOVE IT!!!

I find that my flowers last longer if I cut the stems shorter. So, low-profile arrangements last longer than tall ones. Also, I forget where I saw it (BHG? Consumer Reports?), but I ...

Knock Knock makes a great grocery list with check-boxes. I believe it's called the "All Out Of" pad and it has a magnet on the back to stick to the fridge. Very reasonably priced (

My cabinet doors have been painted over and over so many times that most of them don't shut. My kitchen always looks a bit disheveled because of this. Since I'm a renter (and limited on workspace...

Ugh. No thanks. I'd rather not stare into a wall while I eat. Plus, if you use that yellow chair, you'd be bumping into the cart/shelf by the stove every time you sat down or got up.

I switched over to Bon Appetit.

I'm absolutely heartbroken. I get a whole bunch of magazines each month, and this is the one I would keep if forced to whittle down. I'm going to go cry now.

I'd recommend any large crafts store, like Michael's. They usually have a wide selection of baskets, at reasonable prices. They also often go on sale and/or provide a coupon in their weekly ad.

Duct tape patch?

I have frogs all over my bathroom, which started with a single shower curtain from Target (which I no longer have). And I have cows all over my kitchen, which started with a cow print ...

If you really love this set, and it's structurally sound, then I think it's worth it. Also, remember that $400 is what it's LISTED for. You might be able to talk them down a bit.
