I love it in a salad. It's lemony.

Here's the annoying thing: I have a fairly happy home. It's a comment people often use when visiting. And I would consider entering this contest, except that the happiness here was in ...

I also really like the Seeds of Changes sauces, particularly the Jafrezi. Very tasty. We're also into the Jyoti brand that comes in cans (we love chicken simmered in their saag) but it...

Add another one for pavlovas!

Ikea fabric is totally amazing. Upholstery weight for under $10/yard! And check their curtain stock, too: often very nice designs, and they stock them extra long, so you get about 9 yards of fabric...

thanks so much for posting about the butchering class. I've been looking for something like that!

I've had a full page ad for his show of plant drawings on my "inspiration board" since I ripped it out of some magazine (art forum, maybe?) many years ago. Wish they'd put a year as part of the dat...

I turn my bags inside out and clip them the utensil rack that hangs above my stove. When the oven's on, the heat from the vent dries them pretty quickly.

The Greenpoint link isn't working...I'd like to see that list! I'll second M and I International--they have these amazing tiny chocolates that have really beautiful illustrated packagi...

Count me in as one of the fans: I truly love it. The time commitment can be really hard for those with regular job hours (I freelance) and there are definitely rules to abide by, but once you're pa...

Also from Ikea (though plastic, so perhaps not so appealing to the montessori types) is this frog set which we constantly buy to give to new parents:

Oh. My. God. Thank you so much for posting this! When I was a kid, I spent days/weeks/months creating an entire paper village for the family train set in the basement. This is fantastic.
