Fantastic photos. Still, all those plates on bare wood... no tablecloths or placemats... they make me shiver. I'm so Italian, I need to have something under my plate!

I think it could be Northern Italy, or Switzerland, of France or, possibly, Germany. Definitely not Britain. They don't have windows like that in the UK.

Being an Italian, I wouldn't say this is a classic Italian dish (never heard of this combination before!) but it sure looks delicious! I'll try it!

A friend of mine recently had a baby and her partner built something very much like that (only with carved flowers) in pinewood ! It is a lovely idea.
