I think a dusty blue on the walls would look nice with the beige. Also, getting some patterned window coverings in a beige/brown/light blue (and coordinating pillows) would tie everything together...

You can also save on storage space by stuff large floor pillow cases with your extra blankets, duvets and pillows. Simply fold up the empty pillow case when blankets are being used.
