I'm with btoddster re: wanting to rewire things to LED. I also have a great old chandelier that's in my garage because I keep meaning to learn how to rewire it myself. Anybody know where a person c...
I am torn. On the one hand, the arrangement sucks for art viewing: on the other hand, it's a pretty nifty, like, "architectural" element. But I think that in the right place and the right hands it ...

I can't get past the fact that the stepped garden structure is just plain butt ugly. Whew---and that apparently unused space under and behind it---buttressed by a stiletto heel thingie.
It's either amazing luck or pure genius to make that tomato-soup red formica table and ditto-color settee happen together. And the walls in that room are great.
Even I think this idea might be over the top, but what if you actually extended the stair walls all the way up to their height before the diagonals are cut into them, and put a ceiling over it, the...

The stainless steel one looks like a prop in an old psychiatric asylum horror film.
I use 'em to make boulders for my ancient stone kitchen wall....
Yes, but what is that incredible metal chair in the right hand corner of the first picture? I must have that chair! Does anyone know, please?

J'adore that "zebra" rug! Where did you get that, Abby?
One word: eBay. Kazillions and kazillions of tiles in every material, size, and color you could dream of.
