I love this idea! I think you could do this with a closet door to make a compact changing table. Just make the top half fold down or the bottom half fold up.

I love it. I agree with the one that said it didn't seem practical for kids. I imagine them bumping their head or scraping an elbow while trying to pick up a toy. Great design though!
