I made these last night (my first attempt at braising anything!) and they were amazing. This will definietly become my go-to dish when I need something warm and hearty. Thanks!
I just made this for dinner the other night, but instead of butter, I used a little olive oil and grated ginger. I didn't eat the rind, but my SO did, so I guess to each his own.

Dinner tonight -- pan-seared scallops over greens with a side of roasted butternut squash.
Not really sure if the two go together, but I'm excited to see :-)
I've seen this tip to uncork a bottle of wine before, but I always wonder -- if you are somewhere that you don't have a corkscrew, what are the chances that you WILL have a hammer and a screw?

Thanks!

One of the perks of living/working within 2 blocks of Grand Central's market ... getting to walk past Penzy's at least once at day!
At Cilantro, a great mexican restaurant on the east side of manhattan, they make a great blue corn crusted calimari. Delish!
Definitely cherry! I am starting a list of all of the things I want to learn how to make from scratch over the summer and a pie is #1!
Ebay! I just bought 4 8x10 Target frames for $20 (inc. shipping).

I just take a bar towel or rag and swiffer with that ... no need to buy new products and washable!
Or maybe washing them in the washing machine?
I'm with you hejiranyc! I think they look like an enjoyable way to clean!
