I would buy two of those little square tables from ikea and nail on some wood trim to make it curvy.. a little wood putty and some paint.. voila! just saved $550.

it seems to me that the cabinets and floor tiles clash a bit. I dont think the cabinets are too bad by themselves, but the floor ruins it.
The best thing for me is when shopping, always asking myself "do I NEED this? will I USE this? or will I be happier knowing I didn't buy something that would go to waste?"
