I agree with the suggestion for sconces - sometimes ikea has nice ones, or c&b or restoration hardware for plug-in options. Or if you're able, hard-wiring in some lights would really be fantastic.
I have a serious case of kitchen envy. I'm a little confused about the fridge, but I love the creamy white. It looks clean and bright and classic. I also love the plants on the windowsill!

I like whole wheat pasta, but my husband is not so keen on it. We compromise - when we eat pasta (rarely), we make half-and-half together. It actually makes a nice contrast in the meal.

puppy hair. our dog is just 5 months old and it's amazing how much he's shedding with the heat coming on!
