The bed is from IKEA and you can do so much with it, paint it any color, put a canopy (from IKEA) or even do the drawers under the bed as somebody else here did:

Thanks for the comments. This is an old house and we had to re-build the closet and instead of spending money on a custom closet organizer, I just used my old cubes purchased from Linens and Thing...

I have the same IKEA bed for my kid and I love how you did the drawers underneath, it is an amazing idea. I wish I had done the same!
