That carpet was hideous. I would have asked the landlord to rip it out (or, if like me, just paid the maintenance man a few bucks to do the job). I found it interesting how he quantified what gives...
What I don't like about these is that the woman is hyper-sexualized. The man has no drawers in his groin or buttocks, while the woman has them on her breasts and buttocks, the breasts being a sexua...
I bought a huge hunting horn a few months back. In my last apartment, I had the perfect space for it.
In my new place, I find myself decorating so that I can display to horn. I say, l...
Hmm, I like that. :) I am currently looking for a storange solution in my bathroom and thin wooden shelving might just do the trick.
thanks for the inspiration!
Hmm. I am thinking of using pretty glass wide mouth goblets for my cat's food and water. I have a spot right next to the stairs that is perfect because I never walk there. But, I think it's a bit m...
this place is cute. as someone from arkansas, with a mother that still lives there, I can say she has that exact leopard candle in the house.
I like the impromptu slipcovered seating....
I'm not sure how practical it is to have cloth chairs by the pool, but if you can afford to throw them away if they get splashed, I guess it doesn't matter.
I love the oversized art! And showing your lived-in home was very refreshing for AT. It's nice to see the delicate and the industrial combined. This is really a sweet place, and that mobile backsto...
They are a decent distance away from the stove, so grease shouldn't be a problem for the books. Plus, he probably doesn't do much cooking on a flight attendant's schedule.
The mock bookshelf is the greatest thing I've ever seen. When I saw it closed I thought, "Geez, those books sure are crammed in there." Then to discover it's a false bookshelf and actually storage ...

I cut wild flowers for this touch, but I put them in the kitchen window sill so they can catch the light without the cat knocking them over.

I like the clock. One tiny shelf when I enter my itty bitty apartment with that clock sitting on it and I won't lose my keys again! I'm ebaying.
Love the after. Everyone makes comments about loving the wallpaper before but I bet they wouldn't live with it! Good job. :)

I have 3 stairs in my apartment that lead to my terrace. They would look so sweet with a splash of color. I'm glad I happened upon this! :)

this looks like a combination of the main character's homes in What Dreams May Come. I absolutely love it.
I like the shelving. I love wood and that's a really creative piece. Couldn't live here, but certain elements are certainly inspiring!
I love the dinner table. Beautiful.

I love how awkward the mom's arms are in the photo with the baby. :) Great apartment.
