i live in ann arbor. i think this is nice, seeing that most homes are taken over by bmw driving grad students or asses in general. i commend them for this. i wish i was an architect......
i think a thick rubber mat, with no bevel and some epoxy would do wonders. i would say getting polished stones would be the best. or polish them yourself. i have always wanted to try this. its supp...
we use it as a tv bench. it looks great. on the top: a 32" lcd tv. the second tier: a commodore 64 and a seafoam green olivetti typewriter. it looks great.
