I make my stock in the slow cooker as well-- super easy and can cook for a long time or a shorter time-- and I just throw in an onion, old carrots, whatever I have. Then freeze it!

I think the epicurious one is really great-- you can search easily AND save your favorites. Doesn't translate from the online site, though...but still!

Yes!! The black olives always kept us kids happy until the rest of the meal was ready :) In fact, I think relish trays are more for kids than adults!
