Whatever you do, use water and do not use air to inflate the balloon. Speaking from personal experience: Hot chocolate air trapped in balloon = exploding chocolate covered balloon. I can't tell y...

enough with the "keep calm" poster hating - it was/is popular for a reason - it's message speaks to everyone. What do any of us care if it's become ubiquitous -- remember, just 'keep calm and carry...

I just finished painting the master bath this gorgeous deep blue "Restless Sea" and I feel as though the name reflects more about my feelings than I initially thought. Might be time to move!

I've tried the basil tube but thought the additional ingredients really rendered the taste something awful. I MUCH prefer the frozen basil cubes from Trader Joes - and they have far fewer additives.

Thank you, GreatFriend! I thought I was the only one who was bugged by that ad campaign. It definitely isn't enough to make me reconsider buying an F&P drawer (when I eventually can afford one), bu...

Love their Wheaten. Nothing like seeing my favorite breed of woofer on one of my favorite websites. Lovely home, too.

birdablaze -- I completely agree with you - that kind of spider situation would push me over the edge. I had a pretty similar experience housesitting for a family friend for three weeks, and those ...

I lived in an apartment in the inner richmond with the exact same lever! I don't recall the name of it, nor do I know where to have one repaired, but watching it move on its own when someone opened...

I agree with brittanykate -- we keep a roll around, but in an incredibly inconvenient place in the kitchen. It really forces us to think twice about whether we need one or not. Our dish rags/towels...

On a recent tour of New Zealand, I noticed that almost all of our hotels had a similar key-car/power system. I thought it was ingenious!

There's not much about American Cheese that I do not loathe. Everything from the texture, to the wasteful plastic on the individual slices, to its taste. I'll take a brick of locally produced sharp...

I agree -- looks far too much like a toilet for me to envision it as anything else.

I agree with amed studio -- that price seems absurdly low here in California! At that rate, you would think it would have been snapped up in a heartbeat, even with this economy.

That looks fantastic!! I would love to try to recreate it myself. Good call on the brakes, too. I think those would be useful.

We have the same problem and I found that a matress pad goes a long way towards solving this problem. Combined with sheet suspenders, and you should be in good shape!

is Buckingham's work available for the lay person to purchase?

that is just amazing. Any chance you want to come down to San Diego and do the same thing to our AC? Brilliant!
