I used "Rockport Gray" from Benjamin Moore on my walls. It is an ideal wall color because it picks up all shades of blue, green, and red. Plus it looks great with black, white, and wood as well.

I must admit that standards and classics are the way for me... Think Peggy Lee's Greatest Hits, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Pearl Bailey. A little soul makes things move along much easier...
