It's unfair to play down Koolhaas as designer. His Kunsthal museum/auditorium in Rotterdam is still one of the best expo buildings in the Netherlands.

there's enough to be enjoyed here for a big thumbs up. nice to see another home with white walls. when you've got nice stuff to show, it doesn't show any better than against whites. pet peeve. ha!

the plished concrete floor is beautiful, and a very clever choice to make it seem larger. add a few more personal touches and this is a perfect small and cool dwelling. good luck in the competition...

i realy don't understand all the snark about the white. i just love it!! and it's a simple design principle to choose white when spaces are small. great job!

while all is beautiful, there's something about the chairs that make me really jealous... great house, lovely and original and perfect in its execution.
