I think if you try to do faux inlay, it's just not going to look right. $599 is a pretty good price for this technique.

I think the fixture you mentioned is too big, it's going to overwhelm your space and look top heavy. I would suggest going with something the same width as the mirror or smaller.

I have twins...pug and cat (both brindle, around the same size). They are both hilarious and make me laugh all the time, so I make sure that they are happy too.
