Personally, I wouldn't paint them - I couldn't handle the guilt.
I'd start by changing out the hardware, painting the wall (even if it's just a less stark white) and getting a new rug....
This weekend is all about comfort food. Tonight I'm making mac 'n cheese with roasted carrots, onion and garlic stirred in. Along side we'll have a crisp romaine salad. YUM!

I store my left over paint in plastic jars from Smart & Final - it's much neate...
All of the matching isn't for me... however, I do like the banana leaf wallpaper as a headboard in Blanche's bedroom. I'd just skip the matching bedspread.
I LOVE the bathing suits and have been wanting to do this myself for quite a while.
I recently framed some vintage bow ties... and I think they look sweet!

I am loving gray more and more. I recently painted my bathroom gray (walls AND ceiling) and I am thrilled with the way it turned out.
