I have two sets of speakers growing dust bunnies in the closet. I stopped using attached speakers ages ago in favor of a set of good headphones. I haven't looked back since.

As someone who's been sewing for half a century, I'm delighted that young people are rediscovering the skill. I've own Singer, Pfaff, Viking, and Elna machines. Frankly, Singer ain't what it used...
