Dana - I'm guessing it is the difference in acid? Ricotta uses lemon juice, this recipe uses white vinegar. I could be completely wrong though.

I use a sugar cube dipped in honey to exfoliate my lips. Just rub in little circles and it works wonderfully! Your lips have never felt this soft:)
