Oooh! I have lusted over the caboche lamp since I saw it in a restaurant in and East End London venue. Have kept it in my file of "I will someday have that..." Absolutely love it!

Nice execution and idea. Would be interested to know what the total end cost was though as I suspect that it is still way beyond the reach of most people.

Thanks to you all for your assistance and comments. This has been most helpful. Matilde: the gulet trip I took sailed around the underwater ruins in Kekova in the southern region of An...

Since I don't have a tv music is key. No room for the turntable type so it more digitally-oriented but still manages to create a sense of atmosphere. Couldn't live without it!

The entrance looks like the doorway to a Japanese love hotel and the interior too dark and industrially inspired (insane asylum or prison maybe?). While each concept serves a purpose, neither works...

Love the look but no can't afford it. It's too bad there doesn't seem to be much, if any, affordable eco-furniture out there yet.

Ewwww. While very pretty it doesn't make for a very hygienic kitchen surface. Even in a shoe-free household (like ours) feet are dirty and should not be on counter tops. Strike out!

Carpet in the bathroom is always a deal breaker. Ick!
