I love the fact that this home incorporates mid-century elements without becoming the cliche that so many American homes become. You can see that the owners are confident in their design and art ch...
Hi Jessica, one other question about the ceiling fixture. Are the pendants acrylic plastic or paper?
What I really like about your place is that you also have some real bold art on the...

Yes, I think the vintage collections really work because the homeowner has kept the big picture in mind, with respect to the use of color and line. I think that's definitely the artist coming out. ...
I like the kitchen except for all those lights, which look messy and disturbing. No, recessed lights are not true to the period of the house, but if remaining true to the period of the house is the...
Well, let's hope Living, Etc. hangs on. I have to say that Metropolitan Home had lost my interest in recent years -- it began to seem sort of staid and boring and too upscale. If Living Etc could s...
I love the art. The living room and dining room, however, feel off-kilter. I agree with another commenter that there seems to be a lot of potential here that's not being met.

The darker ceiling looks good in the rooms shown... not sure how it would look in your typical modern tract home with 8 foot ceilings...

Beautiful! Where is the ceiling light fixture in the bedroom from?

Nah...I agree with your first impulse. It looks too big for the space.

Art, art, art!
