When I was a kid, my parents did a remodel on my childhood home, and they put in a huge built-in entertainment unit. Of course for the...
Very sweet. I think there was a post back in December about a holiday wreath of succulents, and I really liked that too.
I think I'm inspired to work on a mini succulent garden arrang...
A lot of great, thoughtful opinions and personal experiences here. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer (like most of the opinions shared on this site), I think it all comes down to what ...
While I respect the pursuit of aesthetic perfection, I think this is a little over the top. The idea of having to transfer shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel into separate bottles or containers on...
I like the changes quite a bit, however, I agree with sparkle that the potted plant deserves to be returned to its place and the star lamp should go. Then you'll have the complete clean and elegan...
Yeah, I'm with the no-go camp on this idea. It makes me think of all the travel toiletry bags I've had and how gunky they get when one of the tubes bursts in flight, and then how impossible it is ...
I like the idea of that, and the color choice is fantastic, but it actually looks a little hard and uncomfortable. To be a good reading space, it seems like it would need back and corner cushions.

Among the many things that are wrong with this idea for actual practical usage, styrofoam squeaks, even, I imagine, with a slipcover.
Recycling is great and all, but let's not go cra...
Thanks for the suggestion, Chatoyante. I'll have to test that out. Although, I think I need something a little more boring than This American Life. That show will just suck me right in.
The walls in my apartment complex are insanely thin. My bedroom wall is shared with my neighbor's bedroom - they happen to be musicians - and while they don't play in their apartment, which is ver...

Beautiful post. Made me smile and think about my secret Los Angeles.

Thank you, Mr. Dangerous. Very apropos of this thread too, A Room With a View
Wait just a minute... did we lose an entire window with a beautiful view? Do we get explanation for that?

It reminds me of something out of Alice and Wonderland. Like one of them should be labeled "Drink Me."

I'm not into it. Looks like a wedding cake topper from the seventies.
...but it looks horribly uncomfortable. No?
Wow - that ottoman brought back a powerful memory of my childhood visits to my aunt and uncle's cabin.
