The one thing that really bugs me, tho, is that left-hand upper cabinet door. It opened on the wrong side! Somebody please switch that!

I think a tall, fairly deep shelving unit in that corner near the window would provide space for the laundry basket and containers, and perhaps also the guinea pig (?????).

Well, *I* love a compact bedroom. No place for clothes and clutter = serene. If I had a walk-in closet, I'd put my bed in it for sure.

Blue. A nice bright blue to bring out the red in the cabinets. It would also complement the gray walls.
