I'm definitely planning more meals that will provide leftovers: casseroles, quiches, stratas, panades, etc. Definitely less meat, and I'm being more adventurous in terms of making dinner up based o...
I also have the Rubbermaid version of these and I love them. I haven't had any tears, and I use it in the microwave quite often to heat my lunch at work.
I understand that the TV was put there to cover up the fireplace as well as prevent the kids from banging on the screen. I know I saw a post somewhere (that I can't find now) where a family put in ...
We have someone come in every two weeks to clean our 2-bedroom apartment. We considered giving it up when my husband got laid off last fall, but I've discovered that a messy house raises my stress ...
Tile is too permanent to go completely wacky. In six months, you'll be over the animal print phase, and probably grow to hate them, but won't be able to to justify the expense of changing out the t...
We keep the porch light and one light in the front room (both CFLs) on when we're out of the house, mostly as a deterrent for burglars. Having the porch light on also makes it easier to get my keys...
I loved flipping through this magazine, especially the features on individual artists. But at $16 per issue, it was just too much for me to buy. I'm sorry to hear about another magazine closing, th...

Garlic, olive oil, butter, pasta, kosher salt, eggs, crushed red pepper flakes.
I loved those as a kid. I had completely forgotten about them until now. Heading over to ebay...

It's interesting as art, but I'm not sure I'd want it on my floor.
I bought one of the "say please and thank you" prints for some friends. I love the whole series!
