I’ve planned and been to several baby showers and think that the most successful ones have similar elements: Small round tables or guests on couches and what not. No one can hold...

I use Kirkland baby wipes (Diapers.com) that aren't in boxes but in soft resealable packs. That might be easier.

I used the glider all the time with baby #1 and fell asleep in it often. I liked being able to comfortably breastfeed him in his own room. The idea of carrying a sleeping, just-fed baby from the li...

Frame the letters of your son's name and just hang those one under the other? Of course, you'd have a lot left over but could be cute!

My husband and I actually did an easier version of this: We taped out the chalkboard area on our wall, painted it with chalkboard paint, then hung an old frame we painted around it. Looks awesome!

I agree with you: Not very kid-like. I'm all for modern and clean, but I very much like rooms that look like actual children live there.

They sell the decals at Rare Device in Brooklyn: http://www.raredevice.net/item.php?item_id=87&category_id=27

Any idea where to get a modern and not $$ alphabet pillow?

I agree that the Delta crib got chewed on. To help, we got this: www.teething-teeth.com/Crib_Rail_Cover.html

Just something to keep in mind: The 1st birthday is a big one--for the parents! You made it! Try not to stress too much over the details that your child will not notice. That said, my...

While the new kitchen is really cute, it makes me sad to see such a classic get painted over.

I'd love some ideas to find modern and fun Christmas stockings for the fam. I love some that I've found on etsy, but they're pretty small and, you know, I want to actually be able to fill them up!

I want to live in this room. Love it!

I kicked and screamed my way to buying a glider. But I’m glad I did. I wound up falling asleep in that chair a lot. I cannot imagine sitting in an armless chair—...

What's the Walmart link? I cannot seem to find a similar-looking bookshelf on their site.
