Why not use a simple kitchen scale ?

I miss the natural light in #1, and am not a fan of #4 (tables blocked out door), but I'm with Lisa on the first table, and the last one is really pretty, the light fixture really works there.

Another voice for "both spaces are bad", but (apart from the fact that I'd have kept and cherished that paneling) the first one actually had room for basic improvements like cleanign the desk and m...

It's nice buuut... it looks empty to me. I would be utterly incapable of creating anything with so little material around me - I don't mean supplies, but inspirational material. Pictures, art, etc...

Pick some photographs and pictures and hang them up the walls !

I'd cut the cellphone. I barely use it anyway. Oh, scratch that, now that you asked, I'm windering why I keep it. Internet is vital to my sanity, and here (France) it comes with free phone calls to...

I love open windows, in the summer we open windows int he mornings and evenings and at night, too, but during the day it often gets really hot and it's cooler inside the house, so we just keep them...

There is some crappy stuff at Ikea... well, just like in about any other funirutre shop I know. There's also good, solid stuff, stuff that's highly adaptable. When I moved into my very first studio...

Don't tell me they need the space for their close family. If they have people staying over, they'd need some err... intimity. This is just indecent.

Prettyprettypretty ! It's bold - maybe a little too much fo rme to live in it, but then *I* don't live in it - , it's fun, it's warm and welcoming. I'd love to come and visit - but then, you'...

Pretty pretty pretty ! I love what you did with this place. I have a question though : are there other windows than the ones in the living-room and bedroom ? I'm feelinga little claustrophobic here...

I definitely want to see more of it ! It's a really, really lovely place, I love how you played with white and gave so much brightness to the rooms. House Tour please !

Love, love LOVE the place. I have major bookshelf envy, and the loiving room looks really cozy.

I find it a bit sad that most pictures are of the artwork vs. of the room. I have a hard time getting the feel from this home...

Every time i moved, I made a little plan of the new place, cut little pieces of paper to the scale for the furniture I had or the one I thought about buying... Never had a mistake. When we bought o...

We have had the same problem in our last home and in our current house. We've bought some unfinished shelves. They were a little too deep, so we sawed them through the piddle, finished them with oa...

It's a nice place, but putting the child in a room without windows... that creeps me out. Otherwise they'e made a great use of this small space. I'd just have rathe rput my own bed in the expanded ...

Just a second thought : let's bet in 20 years or so, the next generation will fume against all those who painted over 70's paneling because they'll find it super-hype.

I agree that the space looks much nicer in the after photos, love the rug and the disappearance of the air conditionner but... - why so much hate for wood paneling ? Agredd, it was a bit over...

This orange on the living room wall is just amazing !
