apf and mjr, many classical composers experience(d) the same as your sister/aunt. Bizet for instance thought that G major sounded like yellow. It must be great to have such sensitive ears.

I'm normally not a lover of (too much) colour in the house, but this is soooo beautifully done it makes me smile. I especially like the sofa.

We bought a house with a blue tub too - combined with white tiles. Although I don't like blue so much, the combination 'blue - white' looks really good.

I agree with pokinatcha103. I didn't even notice that the sofa in the living room was a Kramfors. The ikea stuff looks quite chique and expensive in this house. I absolutely love it!

I wouldn't paint the brick - it looks great. If you want to lighten up the place you might try a rug in a cream colour.
