On a recent trip to the motherland I manually scanned a few old family albums. Took a long time but worth the effort since they tend to get tossed around and not much value is put on them.
As long as the movable arms can allow measurement in tight spaces, I can see this coming in real handy.
On a side note, and I'm guessing here, I do like the tulip inspired design.
I think it's kinda weird to have just a solo shot of yourself staring right back at you every time you are at the computer. Maybe she doesn't use it all that much.

According to the specs the height for the small version is 17in and the big version is 20in. In any case this seems like a nice looking product.

You are right modernguy. Make Wireless or Bluetooth an option and they've got a more expensive winner. I can see myself putting this above my LCD TV.

This would work great in my Easterly facing apartment. I'm afraid of the cost, however.
