Sage green walls, some nice cream sheers (to allow the light to continue), and a nice large rug for the table (I'd go dark to cover any stains that will occur). Maybe some seat cushions since from...
I agree with sassydo. I see this either falling and breaking or getting scratched up by those keys I see on the hook with it. I think it would have been simpler to add a small mirror to the wall ...
editrix26 -- I had the same thought when I watched this movie...there was plenty of space to incorporate that desk elsewhere, so why cram it in the bedroom?
gregory - I'm really not getting the mental picture you are trying to make. Unless you are an ex-yoga instructor, you can't "spring" out of bed, so you have to climb out. if you can't get out at t...
Not to be the downer, but why not forego the centerpiece and allow people to see the person across from them. I actually don't think I have ever been to a Thanksgiving dinner with a centerpiece - ...
I'm a little confused by the two or three people who said not to sit couples together. I would actually be offended if someone sat me at one end of the table and him at the other...generally we li...
The games idea and the photo idea makes this all seemed forced - plus what is wrong with a nice intelligent mature conversation? If you don't know the people well enough to talk to them, why are t...
I'm in between letting children set at the adult table. It should be limited to those who know how to act at the adult table. It's a nice way to reward those who learned proper manners though.
I just keep thinking about much fun (not) it would be to make that bed - and how it seems you'd have to crawl to the bottom to get out, therefore probably pulling the sheets off.
I'd go with sage green and cream together. The sofas seem to have orange hues already and I think using either orange or yellow would just bring that out more and that would just focus on the colo...
kimg924 - Beyond the first time family visited and of course got the tour (the place was a score for the money), I don't do tours. I do tend to let everyone know where things are...like for exampl...
The first photo with the chairs takes away the space you need to get up and down the stairs - especially if you are carrying stuff like clean clothes! A simple bench would have been MUCH better.
I think the poster meant the main room is 192 sq ft...it is weird he/she didn't mention that.
I kinda like where the bed is - it is low enough to allow light to just pass over it. May...
I would do the trim in a white or cream color - then do the walls in beiges or grays. Keep it neutral.
I also agree with the idea of getting a list of colors you wouldn't mind in the ...

I've also seen those tiny jars of jam at the local Christmas Tree Shop - have no idea why they carry food, but whatever.

I also am with the dollar store suggestion - you can also get cheap stuff in multiples at a Sam's Club if you happen to be a member.

midmodfan -- Very true - people don't get a few open areas are a good thing.

I agree with farmhousemoderne's cheaper alternative. Mostly because I feel the ceiling is way too high to hang floor to ceiling curtains.

I wish I had a bathroom big enough to use most of these ideas.
