Okay, maybe I take it back. On its own, I love the house. Once I read the article linked to, however, not so much. The builder sounds like a d*ck. I live in Seattle in a neighborhood of smallish 19...

I like it!

How is Domino folding but Lucky stays in business? I had a subscription to Lucky for a time but stopped because it was too overwhelming; it was like being in a high school clique and every time you...

Geez, saraesc, I don't think she's Julia Childs, either. Personally I love those posters -- I didn't even know those existed until now.

1 to Juliet. This comment, "... female commentors, please cover your eyes when viewing something cool and artistic," should be removed and the commentor banned for its insulting sexism. Perhaps yo...

I think those are two different pieces. I love the second one.

I love ours too; very easy to clean. Unfortunately, our mastiff puppy also loved it. To chew on. They make great chew toys. Sigh. I wouldn't get one if you have a dog in the chewing stage.

I love the sofas; the chair looks uncomfortable to me. I'd move it to a bedroom and invest in a comfortable, modern chair to offset the vintage-y of the sofas. and I'd recover the sofas (again, not...

Hey, I remember when you were still putting together the living room (I blogged on the fireplace screen). Love the final look, congrats!

I'm in West Seattle. I can't see (I'm getting old!) is Luna Park on there? I confess I think of it all as just West Seattle (including Delridge and Fauntleroy). And yeah -- where is White Center?

That's just amazing that someone would be that bold and jerky. (I have stronger words just not using them.) How about a tall fence with a locked gate? Other than that I think a motion detecting lig...

Booooorrrrring. It looks like a Dave and Buster's!

We have the Gundtal too (my gaw, so cheap). The secret is you have to mount it so the slide-it-on end is *away* from you. So when you pull off the paper, you are pulling the roll toward the part th...

I remain a one-woman crusade against the term "pop(s) of color".

I wish I could un-know the term "pops of color." FOREVER.

We have 700 sq ft living space and two mastiffs. (And they are BOTH rescues, thank you!) The older weighs 165; the younger should top out around 120 or so. We are in Seattle and had the hardest tim...
