Whao, I had no idea people planed unpacking after a trip. Maybe I should try and do that, I'm currently looking at my two bags split open full of clothes, a few damp ones hanging on chairs to dry.....
Every piece of furniture should have wheels! I have wheels under my living room low table, best-idea-ever, I use it so much, and when I have friends over I just roll it to the side.
Swandiver, I don't think this applies to US, where people are a lot more segregated, but here in Montreal, some neighbourhoods are mixed, which mean you can have a nice house next to a big apartmen...
I like morina's idea to build panels around the edges and maybe use small falling plants, but I also agree that thyme or a nice type of clover would be the cheapest and easiest way to go.
Ikea used to be bolder... They are getting too classic and not enough new ideas. New colors don't do much for me, the fabrics are Orly copied and that kitchen is truly scary.
HAAAATE ironing, will not buy clothes if it looks like it needs ironing and if it does I will put it next to the shower so it gets steamed.
I still don't get why people enjoy cleaning,...
Oh and do you guys know about the Tobi Steam cleaner? I've been wanting to buy it, but I never know with those informercial, maybe there's something better and cheaper?

What about a nice mesh fabric with a cool design? Maybe that could be used year-round? bpesf, that was my first thought too.
