Hahahaha... I agree these are unrealistic but great to look at. Anyone I know with a home and kids and pets has their laundry room/mud room floors littered with sports equipment, winter coats, dog ...

Where did the fireplace in the living room come from? It doesn't look like it was there in the initial photo- or was it behind the grandfather clock?

Hey Amanda, how are you finding life in Providence after NYC? The city has really cleaned itself up in the last dozen years and the local arts have definitely evolved and being close to some nice b...

There really are some beautiful homes in Providence, and even a lot that haven't been updated in decades and ready for a little refurbishing. And the city itself is beautiful, with great schools......

To all of you who say, ask McDonalds to change, you're crazy. They won't even make change for the parking meters on 1st Avenue.

That Mickey D's has been there forever so I doubt there's any chance they'll change a thing. Or that the landlord would. I agree with the others, it's probably why you were able to afford it just o...

Take him to one of those places with a huge brown club chair selection and let him know he can move on to new furnishings without breaking with the past. Other than that, throw it out when he's not...

What happens at high tide?

Yes, it's interesting to think of these interiors in context of their surroundings. In suburbia, I'd want something to break out of conformity, in the woods, I'd want a place that interacts with na...

What a great kitchen, really looks like a fun place to cook.

This is a beautiful but difficult space. The long brick wall overwhelms it and the big bright windows on one end makes the other end very, very dark. It's not easy decorating a place like this.

Yes, Lady J, it's a shame so many Manhattan apartments have lost architectural details like these.

Ah, Dy Kelly, I missed out on that new trend! Scary! I'd be afraid of people hitting their heads or leaning against artwork when it's so low... What was the old rule? All the tops should be 5 feet ...

Nice job with the bedroom. I couldn't live in a place like this, it would be too difficult for a messy person like me to keep clean with the things everywhere.
