Harold and the Purple Crayon is my favorite children's book. It made me want to draw, and I'm a graphic designer now.

We live on a corner lot. The only issue is people chucking trash out into our yard as they drive by. It happens 1-2 times a month. Minor.

I'd go for a burnt orange and a warm black, or light tangerine and warm black with a putty accent, but not straight "Halloween" orange and black.

Some entries have so many detail photos that you can't tell what the entire room is like. You'll see that, generally, those entries have a very low vote count. Keep that in mind, people.

I like herringbone patterns, as long as they aren't everywhere. There can be too much of a good thing.

I like dark only for well-lighted rooms. Especially if there is plenty of natural light. Dark decor in a room with little light is too dark.
