Count me in the "too much visual clutter" camp. I think the room would be better served by replacing the upper cabinet doors. Too, the larger handles on the lower cabinets end up looking very tight...

I a a big fan of Gus owing to their clean design and realistic pricing. Minor point, The Thompson chair is more in the style of Thonet than Eames.
