We used very simple white (see-through) roller blinds for a modernist renovation some years ago. They filter about 60 % of UV rays and are very laid back. We were very happy with them.

don't do it. Carbonation is not good or lasting, water has a funny smell, and, as noted above, you have to use a cartridge for every liter your carbonate.

Ok: I found them: they are called Phifer Sheerweave 2000. Ours were "Alabaster" which is as subtle as it gets.
