k_darling, I don't think that's odd at all. I always have to go around the whole bed in a hotel to untuck the sheet. Otherwise it feels way too constraining, I can't move my feet and I can't sleep
If you just want to have the magazines nearby and not displayed, why not try one of those end tables with the built in magazine holders? I've seen some beautiful mid century ones.
That drawer freaks me out - it's so shallow, it would be very easy to start knocking things off it; not to mention an earthquake. How do those spools of thread lying on their sides not just roll r...
Yeah, it seems like the cabinets would be easier to use if they opened from the top. Otherwise you'd have to hold them open while getting to the stuff inside.
